We are seeking Display Special Wood Fabricator who has the necessary skills and experience to roll up his or her sleeves and jump right into the production workflow. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of organization and will have sufficient technical expertise to effectively prioritize and manage the fast-paced workload. Cabinet building and laminating experience is preferred. Must be highly committed to delivering top notch customer service on a tightly managed production schedule.
With a steady schedule of Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm (overtime may be applicable during our peak season, must be willing to work swing shift when needed) and a compensation level of 18+/hr you won’t want to miss this opportunity! The following are necessary skills and specific tasks which shall be completed with a high level of proficiency:
Read and build from construction drawings.
Make slight modifications to product as needed.
Able to apply laminate and veneer without defects.
To operate and help maintain all wood shop equipment.
Complete operations and make material adjustments as needed.
Able to read/operate micrometer and calipers.
Responsible for performing QC inspections during project fabrication/assembly.
Responsible for upkeep on material racks
Responsible for maintaining inventory levels of all materials.
Wood shop Duties
Fork lift operator
Flexible, needs to be able to fill in and/or help in all Fabrication projects as needed.
Unload delivery trucks empty wood bins as needed.
